The estate worker role is varied and the service ensures that housing communal areas, estates and grounds are maintained to a high standard. The role is part of a mobile team responsible for the cleansing and maintenance of identified areas to agreed standards and to offer a rapid response service to issues on Housing land. Tasks involve litter picking and other cleansing tasks through both manual and mechanical means through to some horticultural maintenance works such as grass cutting, hedge trimming and associated general gardening tasks. The role can also involve dealing with rapid response jobs and fly tipping.
Working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and based at our Hazel Court depot, this is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the city and its communities. This post is suitable as a job sharing position.
