WorkwithSchools are recruiting for Pastoral Support for a local York Secondary School. The right candidate will join the dedicated pastoral team and help shape the wellbeing, confidence, and success of our students. Competitive pay rate on offer. This is a full time role from the 1st to the 10th of June initially, with potential to become part-time as their staff member makes a phased return.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting students with behaviour, attendance, wellbeing, and day‑to‑day challenges.
  • Working closely with families to build trust and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure consistent, compassionate pastoral care.
  • Championing safeguarding and promoting a culture of respect and inclusion.
