The Joseph Rowntree School seeks a part‑time School Cleaner to provide a good quality cleaning service responsive to the needs of the school, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for students and staff. The role involves working as part of the school cleaning team, supporting and assisting colleagues where appropriate.
Working Schedule: Part time – 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3.20 pm to 7.20 pm. Flexible contract options: term‑time only plus 3 weeks, or 52‑week contract.
Location: North of the historic city of York, in a superb learning environment with excellent facilities.
Requirements: Applicants must undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
