Mansion House Marketing & Events Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mansion House team and to manage the events and marketing, which aims to develop the house as a key visitor attraction and events location in the city.
About the Role You will monitor effectiveness of the marketing, post‑event feedback and seek to develop new and innovative events and marketing opportunities working closely with partners in the city. Part of the role is to liaise with potential hirers and take the event from conception through to completion and ensure all the necessary administration tasks are carried out. You will be expected to provide content for social media & website, keeping these current and engaging. You will also oversee all printed promotional material to ensure it conforms to the Mansion House & Corporate style guide and brand value. The post will also lead on the development of the fourth year of the York Georgan festival and make sure the Mansion House plays an active part in other city‑wide festivals. It is important you are able to build strong working relationships with stakeholder, business and interested groups locally, regionally and nationally.
Hybrid Working This role is classed as Hybrid; based at Mansion House and working from home and West Offices. Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role.
Public Facing Skills As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2.
