York High School is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher with a proven record of outstanding outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will join our Technology and Health faculty, which comprises Design Technology, Food Technology, Child Development, Health and Social Care and Computing.

Responsibilities

  • Teach across the age and ability range.
  • Inspire, motivate and challenge young people.
  • Use excellent interpersonal skills to contribute to the personal development of all students.
  • Potentially take on subject leadership for a suitably experienced candidate.
  • Engage in cross‑Trust collaboration and apply for project‑based roles within the Deeps for development at middle and senior leadership levels.

  • Proven record of outstanding outcomes for young people.
  • Ability to teach across age and ability ranges.
