Our client is looking for a General Cleaning Operative to join their mobile cleaning operations team based in central York for an initial 3 months immediately, potentially longer, to work on a wide variety of properties across York.
This is a full time role, Monday – Friday, 37 hours a week. Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour, paid weekly. This role consists of working as part of a team. You will be cleaning communal areas within buildings as well as external areas of buildings, all are residential tenanted properties. This role is physically demanding, and a vehicle, equipment and PPE will be provided.
Responsibilities- Clean communal and external areas of residential properties
- Work as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
- Handle cleaning equipment and PPE as required
- Current full UK driving licence is MUST
- Immediately available
- Experience of cleaning or similar physical work (advantageous)
- Ability to work in all weathers and be physically fit
- Two references from previous employers (one from last employer)
