St Paul’s Nursery School seeks an early years practitioner to work with all children, including those with special educational needs. The role involves supporting children aged 2–5 years in a busy, lively environment with up to 60 children at any one time.
Responsibilities
- Plan, support and enhance the learning and play of children aged 2–5, including those with autism, global developmental delay and speech and language difficulties.
- Provide a child‑led, nurturing, and flexible learning environment, demonstrating good sense of humour and an ability to adapt activities to each child’s needs.
- Collaborate with a strong team of experienced staff to create engaging, fun, and educational experiences.
- Support additional occasions, such as breakfast club, after school club or holiday club when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified to at least Level 2 in early years education.
- Willingness to develop further early years qualifications.
- Experience working with 2‑year‑olds and children with special educational needs.
- Flexible, child‑led approach and good sense of humour.
