York High School are seeking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to join our existing Cover Team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the learning, behaviour and progress of classes during the absence of the designated teacher by delivering pre-prepared lessons.
- Work in a busy environment with excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Qualifications
- Open to candidates considering a teaching career; applications are welcome from any candidate who can make a difference to the lives of young people.
- Experience or aptitude in delivering prepared lessons and managing classroom dynamics is desirable.
