The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

This role straddles both administrative and operational duties. It is suitable for someone who likes variety in their role, and whom is confident, diligent and flexible to change. Possessing excellent customer service and administrative skills, the postholder will deal directly with new and existing customers. They will manage enquiries, adjusting and maintaining customer contracts and essential documentation as required.

Responsibilities

  • Key to the role are financial transactions such as invoicing, purchasing and management of debtors.
  • The postholder will have excellent IT skills and will be familiar with using a variety of software packages.
  • The postholder will support and occasionally deputise for the Commercial Waste Supervisor, ensuring operations are run smoothly and compliantly.
  • Good interpersonal skills are essential as this postholder will work with colleagues from across the Environmental Service Team and the wider Council.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in Waste Management is desirable but not essential.
  • Transferable skills will need to be demonstrated.
  • This role requires excellent customer service and administrative skills, and proficiency with IT and various software packages.
