Job Overview
We are seeking an innovative, child‑focused and strengths‑based support practitioner to be part of our Targeted Early Help offer within our outstanding Children’s Services. As a service, our aim is to ensure children and families, often with complex and varying needs, receive the right help at the right time as part of a multi‑agency team of support.
Responsibilities
As a Child and Family Support Practitioner you will deliver strengths‑based support and interventions. Your approach will be underpinned by relationship‑based practice, modelling how best to work with families and, as the lead practitioner, challenge and support partner agencies to work effectively with children and families.
Qualifications
We require the successful candidate to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service. This role is public‑facing and applicants must demonstrate competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English at CEFR level C1.

Working Arrangements
Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. The contractual location will be the designated council office for your team. The role is suitable as a job sharing position.
