About The Team
The team works with every department in the City of York Council to ensure statutory data returns are submitted in a timely and accurate manner. The team is also responsible for advising colleagues on the best way to interpret and use data.
About The Role
- Support the collection, collation and submission of a range of thematic datasets in order to meet a number of statutory government returns.
- Support and develop the production of regular performance data, informing the council plan and services.
- Support services in the ongoing review of their approach to performance management.
- Create service reports for operational and strategic use.
- Experience of SQL and creating data models for PowerBI dashboards is desirable.
The post holder will be working in a fast-paced team that deals with a range of information linked to residents of York, children, vulnerable adults and economic growth. Due to the nature of the role, high levels of confidentiality will be expected at all times.
This role is suitable as a job share opportunity. Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
