We are Work with York Limited and are working with our Local Authority client to find qualified and experienced Social Workers, with experience of working with adults with learning disabilities. These are full time (37 hours), temporary and 3 month assignments, based within the York area. Access to York is important and hybrid working is available. We offer a competitive rate of weekly pay, with online timesheets, holiday pay and pension.
The Role Involves:
- Focusing on complex case management
- Working with adults with learning disabilities and their families
- Working in a supportive specialist team
- Conducting assessments and reviews with a person centred practice
- Undertaking a complex but manageable caseload
You Will Have:
- A Social Work Qualification: CQSW, Dip. SW, CSS or equivalent to be SWE registered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An enthusiastic can-do attitude to prioritise your workload in an organised way
- Experience working with adults with SEND and disabilities
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A current valid DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake an online enhanced DBS check
