Build a Future at the City of SurreySCOPEAs the Trades Improver 2 EOCP in the Wastewater and Construction Operations section, your responsibilities will include skilled manual tasks involving considerable physical effort in the performance of operating a video inspection camera for sanitary sewer, storm sewer and other pipe systems.EMPLOYMENT STATUSRegular Full-Time – Union – CUPE 402.RESPONSIBILITIES Operating and maintaining video camera equipment Recording video inspections including audio and video Ordering supplies and materials as required Overseeing and assisting crew members in performing their work Using a variety of hand and power tools Responding to inquiries from the public Other job-related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS Completed Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience and training in engineering operations maintenance and construction. PACP training and certification through NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Services Companies) Valid BC Driver?s license with safe driving record. EOCP Level 1 certification in good standing.OTHER INFORMATION Hourly Rate: $36.98 www.surrey.ca/careers
