About the role
The Sports Centre Supervisor is responsible to the Curriculum Manager for providing high quality technical and admin support in the Sports Centre, to enable the College to meet the above broad objectives. Team working and communications within an overall approach that values people will be of key importance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day to day running of the College Sports Centre
- Provide support and supervise the team of Sports Centre Technicians on the Highbury Campus
- Organise, supervise and implement staff rotas to ensure adequate shift cover on the Highbury Campus
- Daily banking and invoicing of the Sports Centre Activities on the Highbury Campus
- Assist in the promotion of all sport activities
- Manage the booking system for the Sports Centre on the Highbury Campus
- Manage all community bookings and enquiries are dealt with
- Supervise staff and operations of the Highbury Campus site gym
- Train up all new members of staff
Requirements
- Evidence of commitment to professional development
- A good standard of Maths and English
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Background in Sports and/or the Leisure industry
- Level 2 Sports Qualification
