Responsibilities

Design and deliver lessons, conduct practical demonstrations, and assess students through assignments and exams. Provide guidance on career pathways, industry certifications, and work placements to assist students in transitioning into the workplace. Teach across a range of programmes and support individual learning needs. Plan, monitor, and record student retention, achievement, and success. Contribute to the development and delivery of high‑quality, relevant curriculum and programmes.

Curriculum Development Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the development of new programmes within the curriculum area.
  • Produce annual schemes of work and training plans for all subjects and programmes to be taught.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Already qualified teacher or prepared to study towards a Level5 teacher qualification or equivalent in a computing‑based subject.
  • Competencies in delivering web‑based applications, software design and development, VR & AR technology and cyber security skills.
  • Proficient in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; understanding of CISCO (desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an approachable demeanour.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to exceptional service.
  • Problem‑solving abilities to resolve issues independently or collaboratively.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a lengthy background within computing.
