About the role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Principal Quality & Digital Innovation who is creative, confident and enthusiastic to lead our passionate and hardworking Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join City of Portsmouth College to become the face of quality at the college, driving to achieve excellence and leading a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement for all. The role also includes leading on the implementation of our exciting digital strategy, inspiring and motivating staff to embrace digital innovation and technology and networking and representing us externally with stakeholders and partners. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistently high-quality services for City of Portsmouth College customers, staff, apprentices and students.
- Support and lead the college vision through an inclusive culture of high expectations and reflective practice.
- Promote a whole-college approach to quality improvement, working collaboratively with curriculum leaders to achieve excellence.
- Inspire colleagues to deliver outstanding teaching, assessment and digital learning that enhances employability and progression.
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance through quality assurance processes delivering outstanding academic and personal outcomes.
- Collaborate with external agencies, industry, universities and awarding bodies to ensure curriculum meets workforce needs.
- Contribute to and deliver a Quality Strategy that demonstrably improves education for students and apprentices.
- Lead the digital strategy, embedding innovative learning technologies that enhance engagement, curriculum delivery and employability.
- Provide high-quality reports and guidance to governors, senior leaders, assistant principals and curriculum managers.
