About The Role:
As an Attendance and Student Support Officer, you will record and monitor student attendance, contact parents/carers to establish reasons for absence, and report patterns of absence, especially for vulnerable groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log all parent/carer reported absences promptly
- Respond to parent/carer inquiries following automated non-attendance texts
- Collaborate with Safeguarding and Student Experience teams on attendance issues
- Support administrative functions for student enquiries
Requirements:
- Good standard of Maths and English
- Experience in customer-focused environments
- Administrative experience
- Experience working with young people aged 16-19 in education
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with IT systems
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
