Position Summary
FT Temporary; Up to 6 Months. Provide administrative, clerical and court monitor support to the Provincial Offences Court Administration. Perform all powers and duties of a Commission for taking Affidavits. Prepare and maintain records and documents for the administration of POA courts.
Experience and Knowledge
- Combination of up to two years previous or on-the-job experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of court reporting is required.
- Requires intermediate level of word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
- Must have well developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); strong organization and time management skills; the ability to coordinate a number of tasks at one time; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a team player with a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Previous experience in ICON or similar integrated system is an asset.
Education
Requires two-year college diploma as a law clerk or related field.
Compensation
Classification for this position with CUPE L126: JC 8. Salary: $68,213.60 - $71,871.80.
