The Early Childhood Educator will plan and implement a weekly curriculum of stimulating educational development activities and ensure the provision of a caring, clean and safe environment for preschool children enrolled in a City of Peterborough Child Care Centre.
Qualifications and Other Pertinent Details:
- Requires an individual who has a two-year college diploma in Early Childhood Education or similar program and is a registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Requires a combination of up to one year previous and on-the-job experience.
- Must have Standard First Aid and Infant/Child CPR certifications.
Compensation:
- Classification for this position with CUPE L126: Job Class 8
- Hourly Rate: $37.48
- Temporary Part-Time, up to 14 months
