We're looking for a qualified Carpenter and Joiner to join our Building Trades team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys seeing the lasting impact of their work across the community. In this hands-on role, you'll deliver a wide range of carpentry and joinery services across City of Newcastle's asset portfolio, including construction, maintenance, repairs and improvement works. From community facilities to public buildings and infrastructure, you'll help ensure our assets remain safe, functional and well maintained.
We're seeking someone with strong carpentry and joinery experience, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. You'll bring a practical approach to problem solving, sound knowledge of building construction and maintenance, and pride in delivering high quality outcomes.
