We are expanding our business support team and seeking a Support Services Assistant for our West Ham Park site.

About You: You enjoy working in an office environment, are flexible, proactive, and a problem-solver. You have strong customer service skills, good organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks. You thrive under pressure and work well in a team.

About Us: The City of London Corporation manages 11,000 acres of land in and around London, enjoyed by over 16 million visitors annually. We oversee iconic public spaces like Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood, West Ham Park, and Queen’s Park, offering diverse wildlife, sporting facilities, historic sites, and more.

The Role: As part of the Business Services Division, you will be working in collaboration with the Chief of Staff and Assistant Director, North London Open Spaces (NLOS), with responsibility for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the division. Duties include customer service, general administration and supporting the team responsible for West Ham Park.

Ideal Candidate: You will have proven experience in office administration, are professional, discrete, and trustworthy. You are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Teams), have excellent time management and organisational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
