We are looking for an organised, proactive and confident Residential Summer Schools Manager to lead the safe and smooth delivery of our residential programme. This hands-on role is central to ensuring high-quality participant experience and effective running of all residential operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all residential logistics, including accommodation, catering, welfare, staffing, safety procedures, scheduling and facilities liaison.
- Live onsite at Freemen’s School during delivery, acting as primary point of contact for participants and staff, ensuring the environment is safe, well-managed and engaging.
- Supervise the Residential Coordinator, Welfare Officer and a team of Residential Assistants, ensuring clear communication, strong safeguarding practices and effective rota coverage.
Qualifications
- Significant experience managing residential or pastoral programmes, ideally involving under-18s.
- Calm and capable problem-solver, able to make confident decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong organisational ability, excellent communication, and experience handling logistics, welfare concerns and safeguarding requirements.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
