About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and student‐focused Physiotherapist to join our busy Student Services Department. This role is ideal for a qualified practitioner looking to apply and further develop their clinical expertise within a specialist higher education performing arts environment. This role is based on site during term time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‐quality physiotherapy services to students across the School, focusing on performance‐related musculoskeletal conditions affecting music, drama, and production arts students.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary student support environment to support student recovery, physical wellbeing, and full participation in training and performance.
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and manage a clinical caseload.
- Contribute to injury prevention, health promotion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration.
- Experience delivering assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Confidence working independently, managing caseloads, and making sound clinical decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust and engage sensitively with students.
- Excellent organisational and time‐management skills, attention to detail and proactive approach to evidence‐based practice.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and understanding of the physical demands of performing arts training.
