Salary: £27,010 per annum.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 35 hours, 7:30am – 3:30pm including a 60 minute lunch break.
Basis: Full‑Time, Fixed Term Contract (24 months).
Level of DBS required for this role: Basic. No security or BPSS checks required. No political restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Undertake a varied workload including full range of Arboricultural tasks.
- Spend time across Hampstead Heath, Highgate Woods and Queens Park sites.
- Learn to climb and maintain trees using basic Arboricultural tools and equipment.
- Assist in tree maintenance in accordance with good Arboricultural practice.
- Complete apprenticeship duration of 24 months, including End Point Assessment.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 16 by summer holidays.
- Not in full‑time education at time of application.
- English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent (or evidence of equivalent).
- Eligibility for UK residence (non‑UK citizens must have permission and have lived in UK for at least three years).
- Committed to achieving Level 2 Arborist qualification.
