About The Role

The System Administrator role plays a critical role in managing and evolving the Palantir Foundry platform instance used by the City of London Police (CoLP) to support the national response to fraud and cybercrime. This role combines platform ownership and technical administration, with an emphasis on enabling crime report dissemination, ensuring platform compliance, and optimising business workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary administrator for the Foundry – managing user access, permissions, configurations, and basic system health monitoring
  • Ensure data quality and compliance by managing version control, validating datasets, and overseeing audit logs and retention policies
  • Maintain and optimise platform workflows, templates, tags, SLAs, and entity records to support evolving operational needs
  • Coordinate closely with the CoLP Information Security team to ensure adherence to security protocols
  • Maintain and update documentation related to configuration, access control, and operational processes

Requirements

  • Platform administration, including managing user access and system configurations
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry or similar data analytics platforms used in public sector or secure environments
  • Experience delivering technology solutions in policing, public safety, or criminal justice domains
  • Basic understanding of data security, governance, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, law enforcement data handling)

This vacancy is open only to those who have the right to work in the UK.
