We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Team Manager to provide strong leadership within our integrated Adult Social Care service.
About the Role
You will lead a generic Adult Social Care team, maintaining a strong focus on quality, outcomes and strengths-based practice while working at pace. Managing a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Strengths-Based Practitioners, you will work closely with health colleagues, commissioned providers and internal partners to ensure coordinated, safe and effective support for residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day operational leadership, statutory functions and performance management
- Providing reflective supervision and professional leadership
- Driving continuous improvement and high-quality practice
- Working collaboratively with commissioning and health partners
- Championing anti-racist, anti-oppressive and inclusive practice
You will report to the Head of Service and play an active leadership role across Adult Social Care.
About You
You will be a qualified and registered Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with experience of managing or supervising staff in adult social care. You will demonstrate:
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Sound knowledge of adult social care legislation and statutory duties
- Commitment to strengths-based and person-centred practice
- Confidence working across organisational boundaries
- A reflective, resilient and compassionate leadership style
- Openness to innovation and change
