The Barbican is a multidisciplinary international arts centre in the City of London. We are seeking an exceptional digital marketing leader to help shape the Barbican's digital presence and audience engagement. As Senior Digital Marketing & Audience Insight Manager – Content, you will lead the development of our digital content strategy across website, social media and email channels, ensuring a compelling, audience-focused and data-informed approach that strengthens the Barbican brand and supports organisational objectives.
Working closely with the Deputy Head of Marketing and the Senior Digital Marketing & Audience Insight Manager (Data & Products), you will drive innovation in digital storytelling, content creation and social media strategy. You will oversee the development of engaging content that reflects the breadth and ambition of the Barbican's world-class arts programme, while using audience insight and performance data to inform decision-making and maximise impact.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing and developing our Social Media & Content team, championing best practice across digital marketing, and ensuring our content remains creative, relevant and effective. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify new opportunities for digital engagement, support audience growth and position the Barbican as a leader in digital marketing within the arts and cultural sector.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in digital content and social media marketing, excellent strategic and leadership skills, and a strong understanding of how audience insight can be used to shape content, engagement and organisational success.
