Join our team as an Employment Engagement Coordinator and make a real difference to local people and communities., As an Employment Engagement Coordinator, you will, Keep up to date with local labour market trends, employment opportunities and relevant legislation.

You will be a motivated, supportive and organised employment professional who can make a positive difference to people facing barriers to work., Experience supporting unemployed or employed participants to enter, retain or progress in work.

  • Experience in initial assessments, goal setting and personalised action planning.
  • Strong experience in CV writing, interview preparation, job searching and employability support.
  • Experience of career coaching, counselling, mentoring or guidance.
  • The ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication, listening, motivational and interpersonal skills.
  • The confidence to work with people from diverse backgrounds and with different needs.
  • Good digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and online job-search tools.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work confidently with employers, partners, colleagues and external organisations.
  • An understanding of employment legislation, labour market trends, safeguarding and data protection.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for Adult and Community Learning and helping people achieve their potential.
