We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our ever-growing team. As part of this expansion, we are recruiting an additional Deputy Manager to join our team. We are a team that is committed to running exceptional elections and registration. The City of London is the oldest form of Governance in the Country, existing before parliament! We have the responsibility of running all types of national elections and registration and those that are entirely unique to the City of London; making it a truly fascinating place to work.
Electoral Services is a challenging and an ever-changing environment and we are looking for a candidate who is motivated, enthusiastic, and well organised. A willingness to go that extra mile to meet tight deadlines is key for this role. You will have clear verbal and written communication skills, and work with a high degree of accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing their career in elections and increasing their professional skills. Good knowledge of National Electoral Registration and good knowledge of administering all types of election is vital for this role as is a positive approach to the challenges of new legal and procedural changes.
The successful candidate will provide day to day leadership, management, and development of others so the ability to work as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative, is an essential attribute.
