We are seeking two highly motivated and professional Assistant Wildlife Management Officers to join our Conservation Team during the winter deer management season. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the conservation of one of Britain's most important landscapes through the delivery of safe, ethical, and effective wildlife management.

Working alongside experienced conservation professionals, you will support a large-scale deer management program that protects woodland regeneration, sensitive habitats, and biodiversity. You may also assist with invasive species management and other practical conservation activities that contribute to the long-term resilience of Epping Forest's ecosystems.

The role involves working across the Forest and surrounding estate, often during unsocial hours and in challenging weather conditions. Candidates must be confident operating in a complex, high public-use environment and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, animal welfare, and public engagement.

We are looking for individuals with considerable experience in deer management operations, including wild game handling and processing, who understand the important roles sustainable wildlife management plays in habitat conservation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working within an internationally important conservation site, while contributing to the protection and enhancement of wildlife and habitats for future generations.
