The prestigious Barbican Residential Estate located in the City of London is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team which aims to provide a high quality service for our residents. As an Estate Concierge you will be operating from a car park entrance to one of the Residential Tower Blocks. You will be responsible for assisting residents, their visitors, contractors, operating CCTV equipment and any other day to day queries.
You will need to possess a courteous and tactful manner with experience of working in an excellent customer service environment, possibly a hotel or high class residential location, as the post entails contact with residents, their visitors and members of the public. Good communication skills are essential as you will need to provide written and verbal reports to the Car Park & Operations Manager on any incidents that occur whilst you are on duty. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative and to remain calm when dealing with emergencies or unexpected events. Computer, Security, Customer Service is essential for this role.
The successful applicant will be required to wear the uniform provided and work on a rotating 12 hour shift basis including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as part of the selection process the successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced adult’s barred list Disclosure & Barring Service check.
