The City of Lincoln Council have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Planner to join our team based at Hamilton House.
You will be part of the Housing Repairs team who are responsible for repairing and maintaining 7,800 properties throughout Lincoln.
We pride ourselves on providing quality housing and repairs for our tenants.
We are looking for a motivated, organised, and friendly candidate who underpins our core values to provide excellent customer care to the residents of Lincoln.
This is a pivotal role that is fast paced and rewarding.
This role is fixed term until August 2027, full-time (37hrs per week Mon-Fri) and office based.
The opportunity for further training and development is available for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Work under the general direction of the Resource Planner Team Leader to contribute to the achievements of delivery of the repairs and maintenance service.
- Scheduling resources over the period of days to weeks to ensure that tenants are given a good service and that the resources are used efficiently.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
- Experience of maintaining systems and procedures e. g. Servitor, Universal Housing, Optitime / DRS.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to interpret customers repair requirements and communicate effectively with relevant personnel to ensure effective completion of required works.
- Experience in working in an environment subject to changing tasks and priorities.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade A to C or equivalent.
- Understanding of, and willingness to, promote equal opportunities, policies and practices.
