Lecturer β Sports & Fitness Permanent Full-time 35 hours per week Salary: Β£40,170 β Β£48,357 per annum (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on Β£46,310 per annum)
You will deliver courses within the department of Sports Coaching to a diverse range of students at a variety of levels. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work.
The ideal candidate will possess a Degree or equivalent level qualification in Sports Coaching, Sports Development or Physical Education, along with relevant, broad demonstrable industry experience. An award from a Sports National Governing Body at a UKCC Level 1 or equivalent is essential. It would be desirable to have a UKCC Level 2 qualification or Professional Qualification in a Fitness area.
The candidate will have the ability to teach the subject to individuals with a variety of learning styles and at different learning levels. Previous teaching experience and a TQFE qualification is desirable but not essential.
