Overview
3453 – Lecturer in Early Years. Temporary contract (up to 6 months). Part-time: 17.5 hours per week. Salary: £41,833 – £50,359 per annum pro rata (Candidates holding TQFE will commence at £48,227).
You will be supporting the delivery of health care, social care and early years courses and teaching both academic and vocational subjects at a variety of levels to a diverse range of students in the above area. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons, the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of health care, social care and early years courses, teaching both academic and vocational subjects at various levels.
- Prepare lessons, teach students and mark and assess their work.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification at SCQF level 9 or above and a relevant Professional Qualification, coupled with recent and relevant vocational experience.
- Excellent IT skills (working knowledge of MS Office), good communication skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
Contract and Salary
Temporary contract (up to 6 months). Part-time: 17.5 hours per week. Salary: £41,833 – £50,359 per annum pro rata (Candidate holding TQFE will commence at £48,227).
