Overview

HR Manager, Permanent, 35 hours per week. Salary: Grade 8 £47,921 - £51,491 per annum (starting salary £47,921).

The College is recruiting to join the People & Culture team. Working in a highly unionised environment, the successful candidate will manage multiple projects across all aspects of HR delivery in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an employee relations case load and report on key performance indicators.
  • Develop and implement relevant people policies and procedures; ensure compliance with current employment legislation.
  • Develop and report on a range of KPIs related to HR delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support organisational objectives.
  • Manage a team, delegate effectively, and monitor performance of others.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree (or equivalent) and/or appropriate professional qualification, with CIPD membership.
  • Significant relevant operational experience in a senior HR role within a diverse, unionised environment.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships and strong organisational/time management skills.
