City of Glasgow College is Scotland’s largest college and delivers a diverse range of courses and training programmes on behalf of employers and stakeholders across the Glasgow region and throughout the world. As the largest provider of accredited courses awarded by Qualifications Scotland, we seek a new Quality Manager to ensure we continue to meet the QS’s standards along with those of other awarding bodies as part of a coherent planned assurance system all the way to the oversight of exams.

You should be a highly organized individual, able to administrate competing priorities and manage systems, while supporting academic staff to exceed the quality standards of qualification awarding bodies. To be successful, you should understand what is involved in the checking and maintaining of assessment standards, able to work in a disciplined manner with curriculum teams across the College to ensure those standards are upheld.

Understanding internal and external verification of college assessment decisions will be a significant advantage, as will experience working as an External Verifier. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse range of people, supporting the College in the achievement of world class quality standards.
