We are looking for a full time General Support Assistant to join our Construction Workshops team. You will provide essential hands‑on support to the day‑to‑day operation of our busy construction hall, working as part of a team under the direction of the Workshop Supervisor to ensure our practical teaching spaces are safe, well‑maintained, and ready for use.

This is a labouring role and will involve the movement and handling of materials, tools, and equipment, the preparation and clearance of work areas before and after classes, and general maintenance tasks within the construction hall. You will also assist students and staff with the safe use and storage of tools and equipment, and support the Workshop Supervisor with stock control and management of consumables.

To apply for this position, you must have previous experience in a labouring, trade, or workshop support role, along with a good understanding of health and safety in a working environment. You must be physically fit, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. A CSCS card or equivalent health and safety certification would be desirable, as would experience in a construction trades or education environment.
