Permanent, Term‑time Full Time: 35 hours per week. Salary: Grade 1 Bar – £23,912 to £24,676 per annum. Starting salary will commence at £23,912 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Catering Assistant in providing high quality support services for college staff, students and visitors across kitchens, bakeries, restaurants, linen and ancillary areas.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all relevant department areas.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation, College protocols and procedures related to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Adhere to all health and safety legislation, safe systems of work and manual handling techniques.
Requirements
- Elementary food hygiene certificate.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to duties.
- Experience of manual handling/lifting techniques.
- Eligible to work in the UK and subject to a satisfactory PVG Disclosure Check.
