Teacher of Chemistry – Fixed Term until 24/04/2026
Location: Boroughmuir High School
Salary: £33,594 – £50,589 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 22.5 per week
Working Pattern: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Provision of this check is mandatory. Employment will be contingent upon satisfactory completion of these pre-employment checks.
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
