Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (Mainstream and Special) – various locations

Salary: £34,938 – £52,614 (pro‑rata for part‑time).

Hours: 0 hour contract.

Primary Teaching Supply register – teach in either primary mainstream or primary special schools, or both. Applicants must be available during the 2025/26 school session.

Key Requirements

  • Sector GTCS registration.
  • Availability to accept placements once pre‑employment checks have been completed.

Pre‑employment Checks

  • Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • Preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
  • Individuals with more than 3 months out of the UK in the last 5 years must provide an overseas criminal record check.
  • An unconditional offer will only be made after satisfactory checks.
