Pupil Support Assistant - fixed term until 02/07/2027

Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)

Gilmerton PS are looking for two committed and enthusiastic individuals to work collaboratively as members of the school team assisting in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of all pupils across the school ensuring those with additional support needs can effectively access their learning in an inclusive, safe and nurturing setting with every opportunity to reach their full potential.

Gilmerton Primary School is a non-denominational primary school which serves the community of southeast Edinburgh and which opened on its present site in 1968. Within our caring community, Gilmerton Primary School aims to promote a love of learning that will evolve and continue for life.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
