The Service Director for Children’s and Justice Services is responsible to the Corporate Director for Children, Education & Communities. This is a strategic and influential role providing leadership in the development of service excellence and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people. Working as a core member of the council’s senior leadership team with lead responsibility for providing advice, guidance, professional governance and support on all matters relating to Children’s & Justice Services within the City of Edinburgh.
We are looking for an exceptional senior leader with significant knowledge and experience of leadership in Social Work as a registered social worker in a local authority setting, that can evidence delivering positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
