The predicted salary is between 26337 - 28835 £ per year.
Salary: £26,337 - £28,835 (pro rata for part time & sessional)
Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional
Responsibilities:
- Work in both ESB classes (two classes with eight pupils each) supporting children with autism and other complex needs.
- Collaborate with two class teachers, two EYPs and three Pupil Support Workers to support teaching and individual pupil needs.
- Be enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated, understanding and patient to support young people in a nurturing learning environment.
- Be a strong team player and reflect on practice to continually improve outcomes for pupils.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture and support learning across planned activities.
Working pattern:
- Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 3.15pm
- Friday 8.30am - 12.15pm

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
