School Overview:
Craigmount High School is a six‑year non‑denominational secondary school located in north‑west Edinburgh, catering to around 1,400 pupils. The school opened on its current site in 2003 and collaborates closely with associated primary schools including Corstorphine, East Craigs, Fox Covert, Hillwood, Maybury and Roseburn.
Role Overview:
As a member of the teaching team, you will be expected to exercise a style which reflects the school’s aims and values, promote a positive ethos of achievement, foster strong links with parents and the wider community and develop the work of the school appropriately. You will also support the school’s curriculum, which is focused on equipping pupils with knowledge and skills for future success, including SQA National Examinations and a broadening range of other accreditations.

The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous 3‑month period or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. A conditional offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory outcome of both checks.
