Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

The City of Edinburgh's Information Governance Unit is responsible for responding to all requests for information under Scotland's freedom of information laws and data protection legislation. Four opportunities on a fixed term (18 months) basis are available to join this dynamic team. If you are interested in how the Council works, and are committed to upholding the information rights of individual – this is the job for you.

Candidates will need to have a track record of working in an information compliance environment, with experience of responding to statutory requests for information. You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to collate, evaluate and present information in an accessible way. You must be able to manage your own time as working to statutory deadlines is key to the role.
