Here at The City of Edinburgh Council we're at the heart of that city. With nearly four million domestic and overseas visitors and almost half a million people calling Edinburgh home, it has never been more important for us to make sure our city is a great place to live, learn, and work.

You will be passionate about improving outcomes for all learners, able to give strategic direction to schools and early years centres and to lead a team of equally dedicated professionals who support and challenge.

You will also be able to demonstrate that your budget is fully committed on things that really make a difference to learners, including quality professional learning and support, fully embedding collaboration and empowerment at all levels of the system.
