We have an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities Management team. Working in our contractual finance and performance provision of Repair and Maintenance Services across the Council's operational (non-housing) estate of circa 650 buildings. We are looking for people who have a passion for finance and performance management, within a live technical services environment and want to be part of an essential council service, driving transformation and best value in the public sector across our Capital City.
An experienced finance and performance manager, you will work as part of a team to deliver best value from our contractual service partner provision, ensuring all financial and performance aspects are monitored and delivered through our NEC4 Term Service Contracts, will be outcome focused and will maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.
We are looking for candidates with experience of:
- Financial and performance management of £10M term services contracts (preferably NEC4), including annual spend proposals and ongoing detailed forecasting.
- Interpreting, analysing, and presenting a range of complex information for a variety of audiences using appropriate communication channels.
- Providing leadership, direction, advice, and support to our teams.
- Ensuring that rigorous financial control is applied throughout operations and Term Services Contracts.
- Dealing/communicating directly with service users, stakeholders, suppliers, operational management, and other council services.
Fully qualified accountant with current membership of a CCAB-recognised professional body (CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, or ICAS). Education requirement: Degree or equivalent.
