Fox Covert Early Years is a large, busy setting, with capacity for 85 children at any one time, attending various patterns of attendance between 8am and 6pm, 52 weeks per year. We recognise all children as curious, capable learners, valuing collaboration, participation and engagement with all stakeholders. Through time, our setting has embedded a positive Growth Mindset ethos, committed to continuous professional learning that in turn supports our learners to be the best they can.
As a standalone setting, our establishment is situated within a campus alongside two Primary Schools, where two Nursery Early Years Practitioners support both Primary One classes. We are dedicated and active participants within our Learning Community and beyond.
The successful candidate will be required to work shift patterns within the setting Monday-Friday, with some early / late shifts on rotation, within each month.
SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 or equivalent is required.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
