Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Early Years Officer to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. Within our early years provision, children may attend between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, 52 weeks of the year. The successful candidate will work on a weekly rotational shift pattern between 7.50 am and 6.00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of learning environments, planning, and interactions with children.
- Take a proactive role in leading planning within the playroom, ensuring high-quality learning experiences that meet the individual needs of all children.
- Support and develop the team to achieve the best possible outcomes for children in their care.
- Model excellent communication skills and effective deployment of team members to meet children's needs.
- Deliver high-quality learning and play experiences indoors and outdoors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- You must hold the required qualification(s) before you apply (refer to the attached documentation for requirements).
- This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults; the preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
- If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required.
- An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of these pre-employment checks.
