Breakfast Club Assistant – Fixed Term until 29/06/2027 at St. John Vianney RC Primary School, 5 days per week (38 weeks). Salary: £26,205 – £26,525 (pro rata for part time). The school is multicultural, celebrating over 30 languages and countries across the community. We operate across 9 classes from P1-P7, supporting up to 40 pupils in the Breakfast Club each day. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual committed to providing high quality provision to all children. The Breakfast Club is supported by the School Management Team.
- Supervise and support children during breakfast club sessions.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with staff.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding; membership of the PVG Scheme or appropriate up‑to‑date checks.
- Overseas criminal record check if having spent 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
- Regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
